Stratford-upon-Avon is a small market town situated on the River Avon in South Warwickshire.

22 miles south of Birmingham, 8 miles south west of Warwick and a short drive away from The Cotswold make Stratford an ideal tourist destination even without the added benefit of being the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

Stratford-upon-Avon has many popular tourist attractions including; Shakespeare's Birthplace, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (RST), Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Mary Arden's House, Hall's Croft, Holy Trinity Church to name a few.

Stratford is also a popular location for day trippers, who come from miles around to stroll alongside the river Avon and watch the numerous street performers who entertain crowds along Waterside and The Bancroft Gardens.
