Odd Limited - Swinging Sofas
You have to be of a certain age to remember these fantastic Edwardian style swinging sofas, as soon as you see one memories of a bygone age coming flooding back. Grandmother and mother sat drinking tea from bone china watching as my brother and I climbed the apple tree, grandad telling us to keep off his plants as he sat filling his pipe, but most of all the memories of our *favourite den*. We hid under it, climbed all over it, and swung and swung on it until we were worn out.
I'll never forget that day when we went round and it was gone, the race to the bottom of the garden to have first swing, but all that greeted us was a new garden bench. Was that really nearly 40 years ago! it seems like only yesterday.
