Keep Your Smile
Disley, Cheshire, SK12 2AA
Keep Your Smile is a charity founded in 2007. It has emerged from an idea, a dream and turned into a reality, born out of the personal experience of just one person. In May 2002, Michelle collapsed with a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She underwent surgery to remove the tumour at Hope Hospital. She subsequently recieved radiotherapy & chemotherapy at Christies, as follow up treatment and had regular contact with a Macmillan Nurse. Michelle, not dissimilar to other people whose lives have also been touched by Cancer, felt that just to say thank you after each hospital appointment, was just not enough. This is why Keep Your Smile has been set up to raise as much money as possible. The charitys initial goal is to raise a million pounds. EVERY PENNY raised will be equally divided between Hope Hospital, The Christie and Macmillan. NOT ONE PENNY will be taken for running the charity. -Michelle Wilkinson.
