However, I do also work with clients using short term therapy. We can discuss this more when we meet for our assessment. As I am an integrative psychotherapist / counsellor I will work with you to make choices about what approach might be useful for you. This might include using techniques which fall within any of the following approaches: Humanistic, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Transactional Analysis. The choice of approach will depend on what might be useful for you, and what might have worked before for that particular issue. When we first meet we can discuss this in more detail and see what might work best for you. I have recorded a vodcast to explain how I work, and what you can expect out of a counselling or psychotherapy session, and the link to this is shown in the photo & video section below. I am on the Survivors UK approved list of national therapists who specialise in working with survivors of sexual violence. In addition, I have been working in the LGBT+ community for several years. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I attend regular clinical supervision. Next step – The next step is to book an assessment. There is no obligation to commit to therapy, this is simply a chance for us to explore the possibility of working together. To book an assessment, or to ask any questions about my practice, please feel free to contact me by clicking the ''email me'' button at the top of this page.
