Acupuncture treats the whole person, body and mind, and not just the symptoms and thus helps to achieve the body?s health, equilibrium and wellbeing.
Acupuncture was developed in China over 2500 ago and has been researched and refined over this period and now forms a central role in Chinese Medicine and health.
Acupuncture is becoming increasingly popular in the West as a natural healing therapy and has been used to complement Western medicine. Acupuncture has been recommended by The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) for issues such as chronic back pain and for pain management. It has also been popular for a long time as a treatment for tension, stress and related problems including depression. In modern times it has been celebrated for it?s effectiveness in facial rejuvenation, fertility treatment and promoting general well being.
