I am an Integrative counsellor providing specialised counselling in Bereavement, Depression, Grief, Anxiety, Stress and Pet Bereavement. I focus on these subjects: Bereavement Counselling Everyone experiences bereavement to someone close at sometime in their life. I have been a bereavement counsellor for more than 6 years. Whether it is parent, spouse or partner or offspring it can be upsetting. I don't say I have seen it all, because I haven't but I have a lot of experience to help you. Pet Bereavement As an animal lover I am fully aware of how much our cat, dog or small or large animal can mean to us. The bond we form with our pet can be very strong. The loss we feel when they are gone can be devastating, especially if we are on our own. Depression Counselling Depression does not affect us alone, it impacts our partner, family, friends and frequently our colleagues at work. Our close family are likely to be sympathetic, but our friends and work colleagues may start to avoid us and worse still our job could be at risk. Counselling to give us techniques to overcome it may benefit you. Anxiety Counselling Anxiety affects many of us. It can impact us that we will avoid doing something or cause us concern when we see a pattern emerging. It will pray on our mind and prevent us from moving forward with our life. It is very common. Take steps to work out how to cope with it. Grief Counselling Grief is an emotion broader than Bereavement. You can also feel grief from the loss of a job, a divorce or breakup of a relationship, from the loss of something close to you. Counselling can help you come to terms with it. Stress Counselling Daily lives are full of stress, and we would probably not function well without any stress but too much will impact us and our family and friends. The usual causes of stress are work, money and relationships. What we need is to be aware of it, to have coping techniques which allow us to manage around it and keep a happier and healthy life.
