Patsy is a sculptor who specialises in working with Ancaster, Alabaster, York stone, Haddon Hall Sandstone and Hoptonwood stone. Her work varies in size from small coffee table sized pieces to full standing one ton statues for outdoor display.
Patsy has produced private commissions and large works for gardens and parks. A recent commission was for Forestway Special Needs School, Leicestershire with 4 multi-coloured Ancaster standing stones representing the four elements giving a pathway of discovery for pupils, staff and visitors.
Working for over 15 years, based in Derbyshire, Patsys work represents a return to classical technique. Her passion for working with stone was inspired by Michelangelo who revealed the image within the stone, and Isamu Noguchi with his love of texture and shape.
