? Historic Landscape Assessment
Planning authorities sometimes require an evaluation of the archaeological potential of a proposed development site and this is the specialism of the Consultancy. WRAC can also provide a quick and inexpensive preliminary indication of the archaeological potential of a proposed development, without committing to a full investigation, to get a ?feel? of what might be involved. The cost of this can be absorbed into a full desktop evaluation should this be required later. Desktop assessments are prepared in accordance with the Institute for Archaeologists (IFA) ?Standards for archaeological desk-based assessment?.
