Due to the credit crunch, many illegal businesses have popped up in the local area offering canine services to the public without the correct management tools in place (Insurance etc) or experience and qualifications, with disastrous consequences. DOG Local hopes that providing a good base of information to the public, the quality of service provided will be greatly improved and all malpractice will soon be a thing of the past. Local businesses are to be assessed by various organisations in order to prove that their business is conducting itself legally and has all the correct licences, qualifications and experience, as well as insurances etc in place to suit their business needs and works within the legal framework of the county in which the services is provided.
