Hi. My name is Pete Barton and I am an Approved Driving Instructor (grade 5 - Good) providing all learners with a structured learning programme. I will design a course of practical teaching to match your own needs, that takes you from your first lesson through to taking your practical test and beyond. I am a patient and friendly instructor and encourage a friendly and fun learning environment as I am convinced that if you enjoy your driving lessons your skills and knowledge will improve much quicker. I understand that you may want to learn to drive as quickly as possible and will do everything I can to help you achieve this. However, I also want to make sure that once you pass your test you are confident to drive whenever and wherever you want. I provide lessons to suit all abilities and ages. I have a lot of experience of working with nervous pupils and welcome those who are struggling with a particular aspect of learning to drive. I also offer lessons for those who have previously passed their test but want to gain confidence and refresh skills in specific areas like motorway and city centre driving or parking.
