Situated right next to the sea, many of our rooms have spectacular sea views. We offer a range of accommodation to suit all pockets, from cheap and cheerful hostel rooms to 3-star ensuite rooms with a seaview. We provide a freshly cooked ‘Great Northumbrian Breakfast’, with locally sourced ingredients, and there is free broadband wifi as well as a fully licensed bar. Because we take pride in offering a quiet and peaceful environment, we do not accept bookings from stag and hen parties but we are very happy to welcome private groups for family reunions, small celebrations and corporate events. The facilities are available on a residential or non-residential basis. With our training and meeting rooms and fully licensed bar, we can offer ideal conferencing facilities for small businesses and groups. The Northumbria has recently been awarded the CYCLISTS WELCOME and WALKERS WELCOME badges by Visit Britain and we are SURFER FRIENDLY. International visitors are particularly welcome and the hosts speak French, German and Spanish.
