Welcome My name is Michelle Shakespeare and I offer an online document correction and writing support service. I am able to work on most types of documentation, including (but not limited to): academic journals, assignments, dissertations, reports, presentations, articles, manuscripts, business materials and websites. I guarantee to correct simple spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors as a matter of course. I will also ensure, where applicable, that the document as a whole is well structured and clearly legible. Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, I operate both locally and nationally. Contractual work: I can be hired on a contractual basis, whereby I will assist an individual or organisation with their document composition and correction needs for a specific period of time i.e. 4 weeks. This includes working for publishing houses whom may need a high volume of documents proofread at different times throughout the year. Quality & Confidentiality Assurance: I have a keen eye for detail, as well as the experience and expertise to transform rough drafts, notes or simple instructions into high quality professional documents. I work alone, which means that there are no third parties involved and I therefore accept full responsibility for maintaining strict codes of practice in regards to Confidentiality. This includes adherence to the Data Protection Act. Availability: Since I only take on a few projects at any given time there maybe instances where I am unavailable for hire. To avoid disappointment I advise that potential clients submit queries, where possible, 6 weeks in advance of any deadline/s. ***** Tutoring: I am availible to tutor privately in the areas of: English Literature (GCSE to Degree Level); Sociology (GCSE to A Level) and Psychology (GCSE to A Level). Adult Learners: I am open to working with those for whom English is their second language or for any person/s who may experience difficulties when attempting to write at length. This service is offered in order to aid those whom know exactly what it is that they wish to say but simply find it difficult to express ideas using Standard English. In such cases I will take the language barrier into consideration and I will provide simple tips and suggestions that relate to the client''s individual writing style.
