AV8 can assist you in gaining your Private Pilot’s Licence for Helicopters – PPL(H), providing you with the freedom of the sky, not just in this country, but throughout the world. Comprehensive pilot training is conducted from our JAA approved Flight Training Organisation at Rochester Airport. Courses include Private Pilot Training (PPL(H)), Commercial Pilot (modular) Training (CPLH), Type Conversions, Instrument Training, Night Training and Flight Examiner Courses. All abinitio pilot training is conducted in a Robinson R22. This aircraft has excellent training pedigrees and is used extensively in pilot training schools throughout the world. Freedom of the Sky With us, experienced pilots can progress to undertake a modular course for their Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s Licence. We also offer type conversion courses.
