The Anvil Ceilidh Band offers a traditional Scottish Ceilidh with all the well known dances. They have a friendly professional caller to help anyone unsure of any of the steps. Interspersed between dances, the band plays a range of songs while you rest your feet. The band is a compact unit made up of experienced musicians with a vast array of diverse musical tastes. The band comprises : Anne Morgan - on Fiddle, Clare Bradley - on Keyboards, Hugh Lee - on Mandolin & Vocals and Steve McNeaney - on Drums & Caller. On demand, the band can scale up by linking with the Morgan Lee Band (MLB) a well-established Eclectic Celtic Folk band, which also includes Anne, Clare & Hugh, to offer an unique event. In addition, we can also provide a Disco using digital music and lighting, to end the evening. The band is based in Glasgow but have played all over Scotland, the UK and into Europe.
