We were established in 1988 and have a reputation for developing high quality media participatory projects in a wide variety of settings. Our fundamental philosophy is to work in partnership with people and local communities to devise and develop innovative participatory projects. We aim to create outcomes which are relevant and that express and promote issues that are important to those communities. A core company philosophy has been to develop projects with an emphasis on participation regardless of age or ability. In addition CAN UK has specialised in both delivering collaborative projects with innovative outcomes to new audiences in unusual locations, and working with other artists and companies. We have extensive experience of working with BME groups, people of all ages and abilities and tailor projects to the needs of those participating groups.
