Red O Denmark began cooperation with the project, Women Empowered through Local livelihood, in India 2009. We wanted to increased focus on sustainable production, employment projects for poor and vulnerable groups and environmental initiatives. Through our involvement in India, we have been motivated to support social projects elsewhere in the world and we now also work with projects in South Africa and Colombia. We live in a changing world where environmental disaster affects us all and this forces us to re-evaluate our consumption pattern and make changes in our everyday lives. Red O Denmark would like to offer our customers the opportunity to support social and environmental initiatives, while buying functional products of good design in best quality. Red O Denmark believes that social engagement and sustainable production can be reconciled with the production of quality products in a modern design and at the same time be commercially competitive.
