I have been hand knitting since i was very young, being taught by my mother as were my sisters. Scotland is well known for its hand knitting and its ability to produce beautiful garments that are loved around the world. There is nothing like the look and feel of a hand knitted garment unlike anything that has been mass produced. I will try to introduce more vintage patterns to give you or your relatives baby''s that look from bygone years. I knit in most wools and if there is anything specific you were looking for i will try to help. The Merino wool used is 100% Merino from Italy Cashmere is in both double knit (more fluffy ) or 4ply which picks out every delicate stitch. These are produced in Italy from a supplier I have sourced personally. I will also be introducing Arran knits which will be in 100% wool sourced from a Scottish mill. The sad truth is that today this is a skill which is sadly dying out. Arran will keep your little one warm when its too warm for a full jacket. Arran will last generations as long as its looked after properly and all care instructions are inside your package
