I provide childcare in a relaxed, warm, friendly, home from home, smoke free environment. I am located in a very peaceful spot in the country on Monymusk Estate, with a large enclosed garden for outside play. My service is open 48 weeks of the year between 7:45 and 17:45, Monday to Friday and offer parent / carers with the options of full time, part time, term time only or occasional days or weekends on request. I have a wide variety of toys and resources suitable for different ages and stages of development. Children will also have plenty of free play, to choose how and what they want to play with, this encourages the use of their imagination skills. I have daily group times, helping children build confidence and the ability to interact with and respect other children, these activities will include singing songs, reading books, baking, discussing a topic that they are interested in learning about and growing and caring for their own flowers and vegetables, which they can later take home or eat. While children are in my care I encourage their all round development through stimulating & educational play and activities that are relevant to their age and stage of development such as puzzles, books, music, craft, dressing up / role play and educational play including ICT resources along with lots of fun games and outdoor play. I regularly go on country walks and trips to the park, the library and other outings related to the current topic we are learning about. During school holidays I arrange various trips to supplement activities at or near home.
