Hi there. I’m Dave and I’m a motion graphics designer, video editor and illustrator. I graduated from the University of Portsmouth, UK in 2009 with a BA in Television and Film Production and since then I have done a variety of freelance and agency based work. I have a great knack for someone approaching me with a brief idea of what they want in a motion graphics video and being able to quickly visualise something that will work for them. I also love illustrating, and tend to incorporate that into my videos so that there is a uniform style throughout – so no need for the client to buy stock images in these cases. My illustration style could be seen as minimalist and clean cut, which I feel is ideal for achieving a modern and fresh look. I also enjoy illustrating things that have a light-hearted and friendly tone. My illustrations are sometimes used in my videos, but I have done work for web sites, logo designs and mobile apps.
