Colston String Quartet is one of Britain''s finest ensembles. We perform at weddings and events throughout Bristol and prestigious venues across the South West, including Bath, Gloucestershire, Somerset, South Wales, Wiltshire, Devon and Cornwall. From Bach to the Beatles and Vivaldi to Lady Gaga, with over 1000 pieces we hold the largest string repertoire in Britain across a huge variety of genres. Our reputation stretches from Bristol to London and beyond, being highly commended for our enthralling and engaging performances of modern chart hits! With a passion and energy for our music, the quartet is made up of four highly skilled, classically trained professional musicians with a wealth of experience at both home and abroad. Our members have played in various musical settings in such prestigious venues as Colston Hall, the Victoria Rooms, Royal Albert Hall, London Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Festival Hall. Our members also perform regularly with the English Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Welsh Sinfonia and the Philharmonia of Bristol. Our players have many years combined experience performing at wedding ceremonies and corporate events at many venues around Bristol, Avon and South Wales.
