Create A Drama specialises in working with community groups, voluntary groups and organisations. We can provide anything from ‘taster’ sessions and workshops to bespoke drama pieces for your group. Using ‘applied drama’ – the use of drama practice in a specific social context or environment – assists your group to effectively communicating their message to a wider audience. We engage with each groups we work with including writing a play, rehearsing, to the final performance. There is a wealth of evidence that exists of the positive effect of creative arts on health, confidence and self esteem, improved communication and increased hopefulness. If you would like to see a group in action then we also offer touring shows.
