MacLeod Gallery is owned by and hosts the work of Murdo A. MacLeod D.A, a practising artist whose considerable output is being added to constantly. Although he paints seascapes and landscapes, he also specializes in figurative paintings and prints, most of which are based on childhood memories of holidays spent in the western isles of Scotland, These represent the customs and culture of a bygone age, memories which are too precious to be forgotten. The way of life portrayed in these scenes remain largely unchanged through the first half of the 20th century.
