BECOME is the British branch of The Psychophonetics Institute International with branches in South Africa, Slovakia, The Czech Republic and Hungary. Methodical Empathy is a method of self awareness and transformation enabling self observation and empathy. The therapeutic approach is extremely effective in several areas including helping people overcome addiction, pain management, and issues with abuse. It is also used to great effect with organisations through ''Humanising The Workplace''. The approach helps reduce stress in the workplace and encourage positive decision making. Local businessman Brian Cracknell told us that following one session for work related stress, he was able to step back, evaluate and manage situations much better. The College will be offering a four year professional practitioner course comprising of six five day intensive seminars, 30 days per year including weekends. The first course commences in October 2015. Year 1: Mentoring in Personal Sustainability, Leadership Skills and Methodical Empathy. Year 2: Diploma in Holistic Counselling and Coaching. Year 3: Advance Diploma in Psychophonetics. Year 4: Fellowship Diploma in Psychosophy (integrative Psychotherapy). EditThe College also offers short workshops where people can learn specific skills and experience the therapeutic approach in action. Course coming soon include Overcoming Addiction, Pain Management and conflict Resolution. Attendance at these short courses also earns credits for the professional course.
