Kirti is a Kenyan born British citizen of Indian origin. He has widely exhibited his work in various museums and art galleries through the U.K. and abroad and has been featured several times on TV documentaries in many countries. His work can be seen in both public and private collection world wide. He has also taught in many art colleges in the U.K. and Ireland. He has deeply involved with various community based arts and also related music projects.

Art and music together is a major focal point of Kirti's life. They give him such a great pleasure and peace of mind with immortal relaxation that he feels that he can not survive without them. He strongly believes that art has no worth unless it has its own vitality of life and that the art itself should speak.

In his art Kirti try and express the simple and serene, with inspiration coming from prehistoric art in particularly anthropomorphic sculptures and functional objects. His work is mostly based on human form. He uses variety of materials including bronze, stone and wood, and combines modern and traditional techniques. Kirti's sculptures are made on the theme of Genesis and paintings are on the theme of Equilibrium. Kirti feels that contrasting places ( Africa, Asia and Europe) where he has lived has greatly influenced his art."
