My approach is non directive and very gentle; having a confidential space where your child can talk, play and draw will help to establish a trusting, therapeutic relationship. With my help, he/she will be able to explore and accept difficult emotions as well as finding his/her own resources. This will result in decreased anxiety, improved self-esteem and being able to cope better with any change.
