Woodlands is a grade II listed Regency house with charm and character. The house has an unusual curved front with many original features still in place including an elegant central staircase, and it is situated in a large garden with rolling lawns and extensive flower beds. We have two generous ensuite bedrooms on offer, both of which overlook Teignmouth and the sea and we serve breakfast in our elegant dining room. Guests are also welcome to enjoy our sitting room, conservatory and spacious veranda with views of the garden and the sea. Woodlands is a quiet and secluded spot and is the perfect house for a romantic weekend, but should you have children it is also a good place for them with the beach and pier nearby. We are able to supply comfortable fold up beds for their use and we have a beach hut which you can use for free during your stay. There is plentiful and secure free parking in our driveway, and easy access to the town and its amenities. We are a short walk from the railway station (with direct links to all major UK cities) should you prefer not to drive. There are many things to do and see in Teignmouth, lovely walks in the surrounding areas (we are only twenty minutes' drive from Dartmoor) and interesting places to visit nearby. You won't find many chain stores here but lots of great places to eat and drink and lots of one-off shops to visit, as well as a safe and clean beach.
