At The Holistic Birth Company, we are passionate about providing face to face, high quality, evidence based education for women and their families in all areas of antenatal, labour and postnatal care. Currently based in Sheffield, our antenatal classes give you the chance to meet other parents-to-be in a relaxed environment and learn all you need to know to feel confident and empowered on your personal journey, whatever that may be. Also...we promise that you won't have to do any role play or awkward activities! We are a team of five practising midwives and between us, we have over 50 years of experience working in maternity care across South Yorkshire. We are also all mums, whose pregnancy and parenthood journeys have varied greatly. This combination of expertise and personal experience is what makes us so passionate about the support and education available to women and their families as they prepare to welcome a new baby (or sometimes 2 or 3!) Our Sheffield based antenatal classes offer sociable, relaxed sessions where no question is too silly and no topic off limits. Our approach is honest and realistic about the realities of parenthood. We discuss all options surrounding birth and feeding choices and there are no pushy agendas. Each antenatal class provides vital, evidence-based education to ensure that you are as prepared as possible for whatever your journey may bring: spontaneous labour to induction, vaginal birth to Caesarean section, breastfeeding to bottle feeding and absolutely everything in between.
