We teach techniques that will inspire your art and advance your skills. Making art matter. art-K runs art classes for children aged 6-16 and adults. Our programme is personalised to each individual to enable you to learn and develop at your own rate. Art-K takes children 6 to 16 years old on a extraordinary exploration of art. We have been running art classes since 2000 and we opened the Fulham branch in 2019. Our aim is for the children to explore and experiment with a range of paints like watercolour, acrylics, pastels, inks, oils etc; to develop their drawing skills in many different ways; try out many 3D activities; and above all keep them happy, motivated and continually developing. The projects are all age-related as we understand that at different ages children have different capabilities and interests. We incorporate exercises such as visual memory, visual perceptual skills and parallel drawing for the younger children to build up their visual vocabulary. As their artistic skills develop, and their own natural creativity, it's lovely to see them gain the freedom and confidence to express themselves. We also help children with their projects for art GCSE.
