LSA Group came about as a side project for me (Chris) and Michaela. I was working as a locksmith/Access Control engineer and wanted to expand the business. The first thing we did was to concentrate more of our efforts on the Access Control and electrical side of the business. We did this as we identified this as our strong point as we were the guys other companies called when things didn't go right. We strengthened our ties with manufacturers and started to offer more and more products to market until today where electronic security systems account for over 90% of our business. We have moved a few times through all this to keep ahead with the growth we have enjoyed and to ensure we can still offer the same excellent service to our clients. We started in the original shop we had for many years but rapidly outgrew this so moved to a much larger unit in Gainsborough. We rapidly out grew the office space there as well. As our clients' admin demands grew so did our back office staff. We finally found a place that's perfect for us and it was right under our noses the whole time. We built a custom unit on the farm where we live and we are happily settled with lots and lots of room for expansion. As our business has grown, so have our clients and with that the demands on our back office. We have grown from Michaela and myself to now where we have a large team consisting of our sales and account management team to our admin and bookkeeping team. As of the ends of February 2020 we have also set up an apprenticeship scheme to try and help the younger generation. One of the main focuses of this is we have a team member who is solely responsible for keeping clients up to date on their jobs and updating systems such as Fix-Flo. One thing that hasn't changed and never will is the fact that we are a family run business with family values. We believe this is what sets us apart. Once we team up with a client their problems become our problems and we never leave them stranded. We move heaven and earth to get the issues fixed and keep everyone involved happy and secure. We have a great track record when it comes to client retention as our clients become our friends and out of the 100s of clients and companies that we work with we are proud to say the vast majority of them are still using us today.
