Kathak Dance For me, dance is a science. It has measurements, hypotheses, facts and figures. It seeks answers to age old questions defines new dimensions. It is the oldest architecture of the human form. Dance, like any form of art is one of the only activities which allow us to live in alignment with ourselves, in the present moment. The rest of the time our mind is left wandering and switching timelines, however dancing, singing or playing an instrument encourages us to be fully aware of each breath. For some, even playing golf can lead to this concentrated state, however, dance, depending on its duration, can sustain inner stillness for a long period of time leaving us calm and composed.
