Qualified in Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, my interest in Psychology and people has been lifelong. I specialise in working with addiction (smoking, drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, internet), as well as depression, anxiety, stress, phobias and childbirth (hypnobirthing). ​ I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy (GHR) and haver trained under a United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) accredited trainer. ​ My employment background is in voluntary and public sector working with young people and adults. I have experience supporting people with homelessness, addiction, abuse, self harm, criminality, psychiatric disorders and complex physical health problems. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients and I feel that my work background gives me a unique perspective which i incorporate into my psycho-therapeutic practise. ​ I hold the Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy awarded by The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, which is recognised as on elf the leading postgraduate training colleges in Eurpope and one of the only UKCP accredited colleges. I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a postgraduate Diploma in Substance Misuse, and have completed certificates in Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Counselling, Motivational Interviewing and Psychopharmacology. ​
