Urban Pilates came about from the realization that there were a lot of Reformer Pilates Studios around the capital, pushing out class after class and not necessarily delivering on quality and care for the client which could result in poor form and possible injury. This is where we come in. We strive to deliver quality service with emphasis on correct form, when executing the exercises, you can sweat as much with slow correct execution, as you would doing a fast dynamic move. With all this said you will be challenged in every class, we have a very experienced group of instructors, from varied backgrounds ranging from dance and Television to ex-professional athletes who have a passion for exercise and a great understanding of the body. Urban Pilates is headed up by Neil Johnson who started his career as a professional dancer and and found Pilates through having an injury and as they say the rest is history his journey into the fitness world started, with extensive training in Studio Pilates which involved certification on the Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda Chair and Barrel and then to round this off also completed a Personal Training certification.He has worked with small boutique clubs through to large companies such as Chelsea Football Club. Our Studio Equipment alongside our excellent instructors will make your exercise journey on the Reformer one that you will never want to stop, creating a body that is Lean, Flexible and Strong.
