I'm an I'm an experienced fully insured and accredited counsellor (ACCPH #1216); adept at counselling people from a variety of backgrounds who are encountering a range of different challenges. Within my practice I carry out counselling sessions via both phone and online video. I offer a confidential, respectful and non-judgemental space where I will encourage you to speak freely, building trust in the therapeutic relationship. Throughout our work together I aim to empower and build self-esteem, reducing stress and suffering. My primary working model is Person Centred Counselling, which means I focus the work around you and what you bring to each session. I help you to explore your own issues, improve your overall wellbeing and increase feelings of independence. I am trained from an integrative framework, which means I'm also skilled in different approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Pyschodynamic Counselling. This helps me to work in a varied and dynamic way, tailoring my approach according to your unique individual needs. I believe that we all go through periods when life feels really tough. In a world full of so many stressors and setbacks, I think we all need some valuable time to process what exactly is going on for us.
