Elgrand and Toyota Alphard/Vellfire Established in 1988, Vine Place sold our first Japanese import, a MR2 Turbo back in 1996 having bought it in from a local car dealer. This car prompted an interest in Japanese domestic model cars and after months of research resulted in contact being made with an agent in Japan, and numerous subsequent visits to the country followed. To this day we still have a relationship with this agent among others. It quickly became apparent that the Nissans, Toyotas, and Subaru's on sale at Japanese auction were in far better condition and higher specification with lower miles than their UK equivalents and Vine Place quickly established themselves as one of the country's leading Japanese car import specialists. Markets move on and over 25years later we find ourselves heavily involved in the import of Japanese domestic market MPV's, particularly Nissan Elgrand E51 and E52's, and Toyota Alphard/Vellfire models to the UK. We also have a top end camper conversion department that produces 2/3 bespoke conversions per month.
