I believe improvements to mental health don't simply happen by talking about your thoughts and feelings. The connection between your mind, your body and your lifestyle are all interwoven so my approach to counselling is based on a holistic way of looking at wellbeing. As we will only spend one hour per week or fortnight together, we may also discuss initiatives you can try out between our sessions. It will be about finding things you feel comfortable and happy to try, which are practical and realistic, celebrating when things go well and being kind to yourself if something doesn't work out. My hope is to create a place where you know anything you share will be welcomed so you feel fully supported to have difficult conversations and are eager to come back for each appointment.
