Alba Civil Ceremony

A Civil Funeral is a funeral that is driven by the wishes, beliefs and values of the deceased and their family, not by the beliefs or ideology of the person conducting it. A Civil Funeral is personal and is made for an individual family. Ceremonies may be held at a crematorium, a burial site, a family home or garden, at sea or anywhere the family wish (except religious buildings and churches). This is Your Ceremony, Your Service and Your Farewell. We offer an understanding of the diversity of the Scottish people today and, if you require a ceremony which reflects the cultural and social mix which is Scotland today, we are only too happy to accommodate your wishes. To give the family the funeral they deserve and need for their loved one, regardless of the beliefs, religious or not, of the celebrant.
