-Develop the skills and confidence to know your way around the turntables -Learn purely for pleasure or with the aim of graduating towards public performance -Learn to mix, Scratch and DJ with confidence -Many musical Styles catered for -Immediate Vacancies Available At the DJ Dojo we provide private tuition, usually in 1 hour sessions and, on a one to one basis if that is what the customer wishes. However, we pride our self on our flexibility and understand that some of our customers have different needs and are willing to cater for them more specifically, wherever possible. Ideally we would recommend sessions that are at least one hour long at a rate of at least one a week as we believe that one to one sessions are more effective. The hourly rate for one hour is 20 for one to one. If a client wished to confirm a group booking or requested to learn from home, (travel and equipment issues permitting) then there may be an increase in the rate. The minimum length for sessions is one hour but after that can be arranged in lengths of shorter increments if so wished, i.e. it would be 30 for 90 minutes. At the DJ Dojo, we understand that the cost of turntables and records isnt cheap and run practice sessions where clients can book time just with the turntables and some tunes, so if youre starting from scratch (no pun intended) you get a chance to try things out for a while before deciding to commit to spending hundreds of pounds on equipment or block ordering lessons. These are 12 per hour and we would require you to attend at least one of these per week until you have acquired your own turntables. If you do try the DJ Dojos sessions and feel you like them and wish to continue, we would then offer you a 10% discount on all sessions booked in blocks of 10.
