Orchard Lodge is a purpose built Scandinavian log cabin surrounded by fields and orchard,in the village of Acaster Malbis, near York; enjoying the unspoilt nature of the countryside and the wildlife around it. The log cabin offers a high specification with double and twin bedrooms, both with en-suite (bathroom and shower-room). There is also a double sofa/bed in the lounge, allowing 6 people to stay in the log cabin comfortably. The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge have been designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge, along with the usual amenities. The lounge sports a flat screen TV with Freeview, a DVD Player and Playstation. The dining room has Pine dining furniture (6 places), and opens out onto the covered, decked veranda. The ¼ acre of orchard in which the log cabin is located, has a BBQ and garden furniture, for those who enjoy ''Alfresco''. Linen is included and towels are available for a nominal charge. The log cabin is open for holiday rental all year round.
