Southeast Interpreting and Translation Services The solution to the language barrier • Interpreting – face-to-face or over the telephone. Our team of more than 300 interpreters can travel all over the southeast and London. We can also offer instant communication through our conference calling facilities. • Translation – we have translators who work in more than 80 languages to produce accurate, clear translations of documents, with a fast turnaround to meet all needs. • British Sign Language Services – our Sign Language Interpreters have at least CACDP NVQ4 and are members of the Register of Sign Language Interpreters (MRSLI). • Training for linguists – training courses in community interpreting offering Open College Network credits at Level 3 are run in various locations throughout the southeast as well as in London. In addition we run workshops and feedback meetings for our interpreters, to ensure a high standard of service. • Workshops for service users – regular clients are invited to attend workshops at which issues are addressed, leading to increased performance. • Graphic design – we can design, edit and produce documents in a wide range of languages. Our DTP resources allow us to accept most formats. • Advice – guidance is available for those who need assistance with cultural and diversity awareness.
