I thatch throughout the year using hazel spars and locally grown long straw and Norfolk reed which are the authority approved materials for Essex/Hertfordshire and East Anglia. My aim is to preserve the tradition of the thatched roof within the community and also to give the customer complete satisfaction. I always work to a high standard of roof finish which doesn''t compromise the life span of a correctly thatched roof ie; inadequate thickness, poorly fixed material. My work covers mainly the North Hertfordshire/Essex and Cambridgeshire areas. I have also thatched in Norfolk and Suffolk and I am always happy to follow up enquiries from other areas.
