She was also the Channel Islands Voluntary Welfare Officer for the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. One of Jenny’s responsibilities at The GSPCA involved re-homing dogs, where an understanding of canine behaviour and canine/human psychology was essential to successfully pair owners with prospective pets, to rehabilitate and train.Jenny saw many puppies and adult dogs admitted for re-homing because their owners did not understand them, and could no longer cope with common behavioural problems, such as biting, stealing, barking, chewing the furniture, jumping up & chasing the cat! (To name just a few). For the last few years Jenny has been running clicker-training classes focusing on puppy socialisation. To enhance her skills in this area Jenny completed The Puppy Class Instructors course through COAPE. Check out my website for more information: www.naughty-pets.co.uk
