Think Computers was created in 2004 in response to W S Atkins decision to discontinue IT support to Governmental departments leaving many schools, hospitals, prisons and offices without proficient IT support and consultancy. Our founding director took certain skilled consultants and specialist engineers from London and the business was launched initially to fill the IT support vacuum that this had caused.
Based in offices in South Croydon, Think Computers now provides IT support and consultancy for an array of Public and Private Sector organisations. With a continually growing base of clients, Think Computers currently provides expert advice and support for diverse range business types including, Schools, Hospitals, Prisons, Telecoms, Printing, Web shops and the manufacturing industry.
Our Engineers and helpdesk staff have a wealth of experience in most operating systems, supporting not only clients running Microsoft but those using Apple, Novell and Linux operating systems - which makes us almost unique. In conjunction with this our unique monitoring software alerts us to problems with servers, switches and printers as they occur - this generally means an engineer is repairing the issue before most clients even become aware that there has been a problem!
