Our aim is a client-centred service to achieve the optimum function, purpose and meaning in our client''s daily lives. We offer a professional, independent private occupational therapy service for individuals, companies, charities,residential and care homes and agencies. The aim is to address issues that prevent day-to-day functioning in any setting at work, home, in care settings or the workplace. We work in collaboration with clients to work towards and achieve realistic goals. Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation can take place in any suitable environment(s). Meaningfulness specialises in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of chronic or acute physical and/or mental health related conditions, either on an individual basis or in a group setting. Functional, psychological, and lifestyle assessment tools are used. These tools provide recommendations for treatment, and if required, reports produced to form further evidence for interventions. Case management and vocational rehabilitation services. This is particularly useful when dealing with insurance and private health care claims. Educational workshops on many mental health and related topics are available. These include workshops on depression, anxiety, stress management and dementia. These sessions can have a focus for increasing understanding for health or social care workers. These can also be tailored to promote healthy working lives and understanding, in any work setting. Care home, residential and sheltered housing - Cognitive Stimulation training, group implementation and support (NICE guidance). Also use of therapeutic activities,and building therapeutic resources.
