What is Structural Integration?
As we grow older and life takes its toll our bodies lose their flexibility. This is felt as stiffness, pain and lack of ability to perform the same functions we were once able to. Every trauma and injury is stored in our connective tissue and amplified by the constant effect of gravity. When people carry out repetitive movements in their every day lives, in their workplace or through certain sporting activities they will create physical patterns that will lead to discomfort. Examples of this may be round shoulders, poor walking/running styles, bowed legs, Dowagers Humps, and heads forced in a forward position etc.
