David White of White Designs has been designing and hand making jewellery for family and friends since he was 14 years old. At the age of 21 he graduated from Kent Institute of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in goldsmithing, silversmithing, jewellery design and manufacture. David gained experience completing an apprentiship with P.K. Jewellers both before and after completing his degree. He has entered and won several national jewellery design competitions with Goldsmiths Craft Council, the official body for excellence in the industry. David has had a piece used in a fashion photo shoot which featured in an exclusive Milan fashion magazine IO Donna.
The 30 year old is now ready, with the help of his partner Jessica, to launch himself as an independent jewellery designer and maker. They offer a fully rendered design service, based on the customers brief and budget, producing classic designs and specialising in one-off pieces.
The company sources a wide variety of materials and can work with all precious metals such as platinum, palladium, gold and silver. We work with semi-precious and precious stones, particularly diamonds, and are not averse to using non precious materials such as wood, plastics and steel.
