With over 25 years? experience in marketing, brand identity, design and advertising, Mike is a freelance marketing copywriter and marketing communications consultant.
Recent work has included writing for advertising, annual reports, bid proposals, marketing literature, websites, public relations and brand guidelines, as well as providing design management and communications support.
Originally trained in graphic design, Mike worked for many years in account management with a number of major advertising agencies and design companies, including BBDO, Wolff Olins and Lloyd Northover. He thus has a comprehensive awareness of the marketing and branding needs of clients, as well as a detailed understanding of the processes of execution and implementation. Mike is passionate about clear written communications and the nuances of identity management.
Mike?s experience has included work in both public and private sectors, for clients of all sizes, from large multi-national corporations, such as Courtaulds plc, to small privately-owned hotels. His clients have included organisations such as 3i, Abbey Life, BAA, Brown and Root, Friends Provident, Inland Revenue, Prudential, Vinci and Sunseeker International.
