St Abbs Diving with Pathfinder
Pathfinder is moored at St Abbs which boasts fantastic underwater scenery and is home to Scotland''s only Voluntary Marine Reserve. Whether above or below the water you will not be disappointed, with views ranging from the historic ruins of Fast Castle to a glimpse of minkie whales and dolphins breaching the seas.
Pathfinder dive charters depart from St Abbs Harbour which is one of the best dive locations in the UK with wrecks and excellent dive sites. We aim to ensure our passengers enjoy a relaxed, comfortable and safe dive charter, cruising at around 10 knots fully laden to some of the best known sites in this stunning marine reserve. 2 groups of up to 12 per group leave twice a day on weekends and during the break after the first dive you can use the time to fill air tanks* or perhaps visit the cafe in the picturesque harbour for a hot drink and snack.
We welcome up to 10 anglers on our sea fishing trips which are hugely popular. Trips generally last for 6 hours but shorter trips can be arranged on request. GPS positioning and fish finder assists in a good days fishing.
Enjoy a cruise along the Berwickshire coast line and see spectacular sites this area has to offer.
The romantic ruins of Fast Castle which was a coastal fortress built in the iron age can be seen best by sea and lies just outside St Abbs nature reserve. The cave below the castle is reputed to have been used by smugglers and allegedly still holds a fortune in Spanish gold .
There is also St Abbs nature reserve landmark site, which is famous for a variety of wild-life including indigenous and migrating sea-birds who take up residence along our impressive coast-line.
Hot drinks and biscuits provided whilst on board. A toilet is on board for added comfort.
