David works alongside Stacy Darlington from African Dance Production African Drum Workshops David can cater for approx 30 children per session and includes authentic West African music and instruments, and if required, an end of day performance by the children and David can be incorporarted into the days timetable. A Taste of Africa. We are pleased to announce the newest addition to our workshops, A Taste of Africa. This workshop consists of a chosen workshop followed by a sample of a traditional West African dish, e.g. Domada, found in The Gambia, Senegal and Mali, a rice dish served with a peanut sauce with meat or fish. Drum Craft Workshops. This new workshop combines a drumming session with an art based workshop where the children can make masks, head wear etc, which can be worn by the children during the end of day performance or parade, we can tailor our workshops to fit into your chosen themes or activities For this workshop, David works alongside The Cultural Sisters, a professional and highly experienced visual and participatory arts organisation based in Stoke on Trent. West African Music Workshops This recent addition to our workshop services includes Master Alamami Kamara from Guinea Conakry (see videos) working alongside David to create a memorable musical adventure.
