We are an English Language School benefiting from an ideal location in the centre of the beautiful city of Oxford. We are very close to the central library and conveniently located for Oxford''s shopping, colleges, leisure amenities and transport links.
Our teachers are experienced and appropriately qualified for teaching English as a foreign language to many nationalities at all levels. They also possess a sound knowledge of Oxford and Oxfordshire. We enclose a typical timetable which details the content we would endeavour to cover during any one week.
We guarantee small classes--no more than seven--with individual monitoring and reporting. Each student will sit a ''Placement Test'' in the first few days and receive a ''Certificate of Achievement'' at the end of the Course.
We have a large common room with access to computers and a library where students can take their breaks in between sessions.
Audio-visual teaching materials are also available to complement general studies. If required debate and cinema clubs can be run.
The Director of Studies will monitor the progress of individual students, holding regular meetings with staff to discuss academic and extra curricular issues with regards to their classes. One -to- one tutorials are also available and tailored to meet an individual students particular needs.
Our afternoon activity programme is aimed at widening a students awareness of all aspects of Oxford. This in turn will generate opportunities for classroom conversation and discussion, be it the colleges, the museums, the parks, the theatres, football team, ice rink and so on.
Oxford has a great deal to offer socially and culturally.
We aim to make our students feel as if they are part of our school family. We are very aware of our duty of care in loco parentis and will strive to ensure that their learning is effective, but also interesting and fun .
