Jaspas Fishing Club
The lake is a 12 peg stream fed lake set in the beautiful Essex countryside near the Essex border. Fishing is allowed all year round apart from a short closed season for the fish to sit back and relax The clubs lakes have a conventional close season from 15th. March to 15th June.
The lake has a descent stock of roach, rudd and perch with a good head of carp averaging between 6-17lbs. Also present are Bream and Tench.
With depths averaging at 3 feet and going up to 6 feet this is perfect venue for float fishing. Fish caught in the last few months include Carp to 15lb, Bream to 5lb, Tench to 3.5lb, Perch to 3lb, Roach and Rudd to 1lb.
